A moonlit adventure (Canadian Rockies)

from $40.00

On my second day in Assiniboine Provincial Park I stayed up late up on a high ridge line waiting on the Milky Way and moon to come out. Hiking back I kept my light off in the open places and the moon was bright enough to light my way. I just had to stop when nearing my hut and capture this scene of Mount Assiniboine illuminated by the moonlight. The trees are a bit crooked and I am guessing that is because of the direction the snow and wind that pushes them to have a lean.
