The Dive (Lake Pend Oreille)
I took this shot on my birthday and it is the only good diving image of an osprey I have ever achieved. They move so fast it is incredibly hard to capture this moment. Ospreys are fantastic fishermen and this pose is attained right before diving into the water to pull up a fish in it’s mighty talons.
