Photographed from Viewski Loop and looking at Schweitzer Mountain I had been down the mountain further when this perfect light came. I hurried over and began hiking up Viewski loop in hopes of a good photograph into town. But it turns out the winning image came just after the hike looking back at Schweitzer. Fresh snow covered the landscape and a small amount of diffused light hit the scene in front of me turning it magical before my eyes. I had been out all morning and my efforts paid off in gold.
