Early September 2024 I was blessed by a friend and fellow photographer of mine. He couldnt make the lookout rental so he gave it to me. I went up there and watched sunset solo. Then just after, three of my sisters joined me!!
The youngest was getting married that November and I wanted to surprise her. They had been in Spokane all day choosing their dresses for the big day. And then joined me up there! I had coordinated with another sister how to get there and nobody told the bride to be what was going on! It was a fun time spent with family and we may have stayed up much later than I care to admit. The light you see on the stairs is actually from the bride to be running up the stairs. I yelled as I seen her going up. “Hey Abby, stop. Start at the bottom and go up fast with your light.” 😂 She did a great job and made it up much faster than I expected. My exposure was 36 seconds for this image and she made it up in about 25!! She was definitely in shape for her big day.
